After updating our forum to the latest version, we do not see a link on the right hand side of our profile enabling us to customize our profile or hide another users customization. Is this something that needs to be enabled in the Admin CP?
edit: Oops sorry! Can a mod move this to 3.7? Thanks.

There are 4 usergroup permissions and a vBulletin option to control this.

vBulletin Options -> User Profile Options -> Enabled User Profile Features. Check "Profile Styling".
Then the 4 usergroup permissions control what they can style.

Thanks Wayne I got that part. The link to customize only seems to display after I have already customized a part of it. On this site however the link displays even when my profile is the default one.

Check your usergroup permissions and ensure that the usergroup has permission to customize their style.
Also, ensure that you are using the default style and not a customized one.

I had this very same issue. I had no link in the profile but did have a link in my usercp.
After making a customization, the link (Customize Profile) appeared in my profile.
I even tried it in my default style - same issue.
I had the optiones turned on as Wayne and Luke described.
Other members on the board are now asking how to edit their profiles (like I did). I am just directing them to their usercp until I can figure it out.
