Does your latest addition to the 3.7b2 release announcement about the blog functionality also apply to the project tools with regards to integration with 3.7? I'm guessing no, since the PTs don't integrate that snugly.

Pretty impresive Freddie, I didn't thought it'd be released that quick. I just upgraded without any issue my test 3.7b2 (which was upgraded from a snapshot of the live board). Congratulations ;) Gonna test it in the next few days ;)

Where you include a link in your announcement to "See a full list of bugs fixed between Blog 1.0.2 and 1.0.3", the link is invalid.
It results in:
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
Fix! Make work! ;)

I updated and it's running fine. The only problem I have had so far was VBcmps. It would not run very well on it. So I uninstall the CMPS until they get an upgrade for it.. otherwise it is running great.

When will we be able to IMPORT threads into blogs? Still waiting for that feature.. seems like no features were added, only 5 bugs were fixed?

It's a maintenance release, not a feature release.

Thank you, Freddie, this will save me from a lot of grief :) I was just about to try Floris' suggestion on how to make this work in 3.7
Now testing this and notifying my members about the recently fixed bug in comments.... :)

Some times I realy don't understand such changes in phrases.
<phrase name="go_to_my_blog" date="1197914363" username="admin" version="1.0.3"><![CDATA[Go to my Blog]]></phrase>
<phrase name="go_to_my_blog" date="1183134754" username="Kier" version="1.0.0 Alpha 1"><![CDATA[Go to my Blog]]></phrase>
But any way, I think that there is no such user "admin" in your team... :)
P.S. Also this phrase is not used any more in 1.0.3
It was replaced by your_blog

It's a maintenance release, not a feature release.
So the next release is going to be another maintainence release? or is the feature one coming out soon? I'd assume a feature one, since vB 3.7 FInal will be out soon in the future.

Whenever it's done as usual, I'd assume. It isn't until the first two numbers (x.y.z) reflect feature releases. I don't think we'd see it until after 3.7 goes gold though, since apparently all the developers are focusing on getting vBulletin out the door.

1.1 will be a 1.0+features
1.0.x will be a maintenance release, such as this one, to ensure it runs smoothly with both 3.6 and 3.7. The latter still in beta, and therefor still 1.0, since the source code and schematic structure of the database could still change

Correct, it isn't used on a new install but if you choose to not revert affected templates than it will be used.

This is the wrong place to ask this. You need to ask in that addon's thread at www.vbulletin.org.

I have noticed one glitch when upgrading to vb 1.0.3 and running vb 3.6.8. When checking out a blog entry, the quick reply icon is gone, and the text cursor is blinking in the quick comments window ready for writing.
In addition it gives a javascript error in the bottom left corner saying vB_QuickComment_Blog is undefined. (Line 1031).
I am running IE7 and FF and the icon is gone in both browsers. The javascript error however is only showing up in IE.
This was NOT a problem when running 1.0.2.

Since vB_QuickComment_Blog does not appear in the 1.0.3 code, you most likely need to revert templates. Did you check the list of modified templates in the announcement?

Yes Freddie, I reverted all templates and removed the following file:
clientscript/vbulletin_quick_comment.js (the new version of this file is included with vB 3.7.0)
I re uploaded the file to see if that was the problem, but it didn't make any difference.
I just read through the announcement again though, and I believe this could be the problem. It tells us to make the following changes in blog_show_entry:
Change var blog_quick_comment = new vB_BlogQuickComment("qc_form", $vboptions[postminchars]);to
var quick_comment = new vB_QuickComment_Blog("qc_form", $vboptions[postminchars]);This is the only place I could find a reference to undefined "vB_QuickComment_Blog. If it isn't defined anywhere else, that could cause the javascript error, or am I wrong? Is vB_QuickComment_Blog used in 3.7?
