Installing a mysql db on a local server? Help please.

I have a local server set up. Php4-MySQL-Perl-Apache.

The vBulletin forums work. I am using phpMyAdmin to access. Now on the Unix server I knew how to restore a db. How would I go about restoring a db here on the local server? Now I'm not TelNetting into a server I'm lost.

Would I run a querie? If so what command line would I use? It worked with a new db. But I would like to use one that I created a while back.

I appreciate the help.

Exact same way as you did it via telnet (except, you'll be using the command line in windows), except you'd probably have to move to the MySQL binary directory first (unless the binaries are in your %PATH%).
