Host Gator Prices

I'm trying to figure out which package I will need for a site I'm creating. I'm betting on it expanding pretty fast and will need to make sure I have the room. All three packages, even the smallest one here seem to be huge? If I'm planing on having atleast 1000 member within a month sign up which should I go with?

I'm not sure if shared hosting is right for 1000 members...though I am thinking of users online at one time :p
I suggest the "Baby" plan, I run just fine with that on my forum.
