I've been running version 3.0.3 for a long time, and now I'm really thinking that I should upgrade.

I've tweaked my forums and added a few hacks over the years, and of course I expect to lose all/most of these, which is one of the main reasons I've stalled upgrading.

I just wondered if someone could please answer the following questions, thanks...

What can I expect to lose during an upgrade?
Is there a list somewhere on vB.com of the extra features of 3.6.8 compared to 3.0.3?
If I'm not confident to do the upgrade myself, is this a service that vB staff are able to provide, and if so, how much does this cost?
My License expired, so how much would another full one (without branding) cost? Many thanks, and sorry for so many questions.

1) You would lose all PHP file modifications and probably would have to revert most templates.

2) You can find new features in the Announcements for each version.
Here is a look at what 3.5 added: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138544
Here is a look at the features in 3.6: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186803
Here is a look at what is coming in 3.7: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=249460

3) You can purchase an upgrade from your member's area. We will upgrade the software but not any customizations that you did.

4) You have an Owned License. You merely need to renew this license for $30 (USD) to get access to the updated versions. You do not need to repurchase the software or your branding free. You can do this in the Member's Area by clicking the Upgrade / Renew link to the right of your license information.
