I've been going through Midphase for about 4 years. They're decent, but don't expect too much. There are a few guys who will really go out of their way to help you, but if they're not available then you might have to wait a little bit.
I've heard mixed reviews. Mostly it depends on how active your site will be. If you're just building it up then it shouldn't be too bad, but if this is a popular site then...
The big thing is they have the domain you sign up with through them, so you have to pay a $24 or so fee to own it and transfer. Also, like mentioned, support is a little slow or doesn't always understand what you're talking about unless you get the few that really shine through.
Haha, this looks so negative but I've had a pretty decent run with them. However, if/when my site gets bigger I'll definitely move on.

I had a client with midphase, after a couple of hours working on there site, I had them change to hostgator. I would never recommend midphase.

AnHosting / Mid Phase is the worst hosting site out there, I have them and my site is slower and has had problems every day, every single day there is a problem.
Warning - Stay away- Stay Far Away!!!

You can check their reviews on web or forums if they have. I think Google will give you a better idea of their reviews.
