I work for a climate change charity and we've just launched a local community groups map, where members can put up their local group on the map and communicate over our vBulletin forum. We are also trying to use the message boards to post announcements regarding our campaign.
As much of the work we do is lobbying MPs, the boards have been split into UK constituencies. Unfortunately we are completely new to vBulletin and forums in general.
We need to be able to communicate with lots of people/constituencies using the message boards. And as we understand, we can do this in two ways:
1) Create an announcement as an administrator, which can go out to lots of constituencies at once. The problem with this is that there can only be one announcement at a time, old announcements get knocked off. This isn’t really suitable as we need to let people about lots of events happening at the same time.
2) Post a thread as an administrator or user. The problem with this is that it only goes to one constituency at a time. We need to be able to post to regions/groups of constituencies.
If anyone can advise a way round this, or can recommend a good place to find this information, we will be eternally grateful.
