Importing Issues

I am trying to import a phpBB forum and it is not recognizing anything as in it is showing I have nothing in my database. If the items are stored in a phpbb folder under the root of the database do I need to name my database xxxxxx/phpbb for it to be found?

You need to specify the phpBB database - not the phpBB files - as the source info in ImpExConfig.php.
