I want to thank those that recommended HostGator. While it's too early for me to say they're reliable as a host, their transfer service was excellent. I had the entire website up and running within a couple of hours. I'm still having one minor issue, but I can troubleshoot that easily.
I did leave a post on the lunarpages forums. I did this to show you guys just how bad this company is. I have no doubt in my mind that the post will be deleted. So, I'm providing a link, and quoting it here. Notice that the post is in the proper subforum, and contains not inflammatory remarks. If the post is in fact deleted, it will further confirm just how far LP has fallen.

my current Lunarpages hosted website is located at www.mediononline.com (http://www.mediononline.com/)
I've been a Lunarpages customer since shortly after their startup. I remember actually knowing my server name back then because there was barely more than a dozen of them when I signed up. There was rarely ever an issue, but if there was, customer support was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I couldn't remember any downtime for the first few years. In fact, if I ever couldn't connect to my website for even a second, it was generally my ISP.
However, about 18 months ago I started getting database errors, slow connection speeds to the website, and database errors. It was not uncommon for the website to go offline for a few hours. It was frustrating. But, being a long-time supporter, during these outages, I called LP and tried to work with them on the issue. The typical response was "we don;t know." Still, I stuck it out for 18 months.
A few weeks ago, I referred a friend to LP. Their website is www.lions-gate.org (http://www.lions-gate.org/). LP refused to give me my referral fee. To me, this was the straw the broke the camel's back. I immediately started searching for new hosting. Later that same week, my website went down for several hours a day, 3 days during a 5 day span. It was ridiculous. I called each time, and the only time I didn't get the "we don't know" response was when they said that they were moving me to new hardware, and that an email had been sent out. Well, my info was updated, and I still received my billing email, but no such email regarding the downtime ever hit me.
Funny thing was, I was moving the last of my files over from LP to my new host today. During this, my website went down again, and it delayed me for about 45 minutes. When it came up, I finished my task, called LP, and canceled my account. Lunarpages was an awesome company for a long time, and I didn't want to leave. I'm not going to advertise my new host here, nor are they advertised in any link I've provided on this post. That's not my purpose. I just want to thank the original LP crew (if any are still around) for what they did. I do want to say that the current LP crew has some work to do, but it's nothing that can't be fixed.
