I've downloaded Blog, am about to upload it to my site and am suffering stage fright!
The instructions advise me to: "Upload the contents of the upload/ directory within the zip on top of your existing vBulletin directory. This is the directory with forumdisplay.php and many other files in it."
Does this mean to literally upload it to the /forum folder in my file manager?
Would someone please confirm for me that this is correct?
Also, I use a skin on my forum...will Blog affect that?
I anxiously await your replies and thank you!

Yes, if you vB is installed in the 'forum' directory, then that is where you would upload the Blog files.
The Blog will use the style settings you already have.

Shall I upload the entire "upload" file or just the files within it...to the "forum" folder?
Thanks so much for such quick help!

Yes, and your FTP client should upload all the Blog files to their respective directories.

Okay, I swear this is my final stupid question...
The files were uploaded to a temporary directory, not the intended forum directory. As I move the files, do I move "admincp" to "admincp" OR do I open it and move only the included files over?
Thanks so much for your help!

I would just reupload the files to the correct directory.

I'm moving just the files to their respective directories, but stumbled on images. Am I supposed to place each of the blog images in the /misc folder? (loose) Or should the folder /blog be placed within the /misc folder?
Sorry...

They would go in a ..images/misc/blog directory. If you don't have one then you'll need to create it.

Everything appeared to install correctly and is functional. The only problem we're having on the forum end is the images. Sure enough, most of the buttons are not showing. The path to each image is, for example, "misc/blog/email_go.gif" That sounds right, doesn't it? Any other reason why they might not be showing up?
When I look at the file structure, that's exactly where the called image is placed.
Thanks for the help, Steve, it IS appreciated!

If you have a custom style with its own image folder, you need to copy the images to those folders.
On my site we have a couple of styles, with custom grafix, and images in /images/misc/blog needs to be copied to /images/customstyle/misc/blog
Maybe thats the problem you are having.
