Compilng & Installing

Hello,

If I had a server with either FreeBSD or RedHat installed on it. How would I compile and install these:?

Apache
PHP
Tcl
Python
Tomcat Jakarta
Perl
mod_gzip
Zend
MySQL
PostgreSQL


Please go easy on me as I'm not very familiar with a *nix environment. :)
