How do you FTP an image file for a skin to vB? I don't have a FTP program and I have aMac.

You can post in Chit Chat and ask what is best for your system, as I have no clue if this reads multiple extention or you have to upload files and images in separate ASCII & binary mode.
All text files to be transferred in ASCII mode
All files containing plain text from the vBulletin package should be transferred in ASCII mode.
Text file types you will find in vBulletin are: .html, .php, .js, .xml, .css.
All non-text files to be transferred in Binary mode
The remaining files, which are mostly images, should be transferred to your web server in Binary mode.
Binary file types used in vBulletin include: .gif, .png, .jpg, .ico.

Thanks! I got the image file FTP to my host address. (It was the themesbydesign skin you recommended:) ) Can you tell me what I do with it now?

Do you see .xml file... Does not the style come with instruction in how to install it.
You would now go to. Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles -> Import Style XML File ->
