I keep having problem with httpd proccess not stopping. I have php install as a modulur.
I kill it will kill -kill command but is there away to prevent this problem.
This just happens once in a while.

Whats the error given when you try to stop it?

i will post what top says when it happens again. The reason why is because it use system resources.

Is this a shared server or completely private? As in do you run a web hosting business off of this, and can you give me the stats of the box, OS, hardware, etc...

right now it is completly privite. Yes i can get you the stats. What stats do you want?

System Info - Like Ram, Proc, Mainboard.
Other Software running on the box.
Versions of software, suchs as the version of Apache, and PHP...

ram 1 gb
9.1 gb scsi hard rive
latest version of apache (1.2)
latest version of php
latest version of mysql.
