I've decided to return to vbulletin later this week and was wondering if anyone has experience running vbulletin on a mediatemple (dv) server?
I've purchased the (DV) Rage which has 512mb of ram and I grabbed it at a discount, so instead of $100 per month I am paying $85 per month.

At 85 dollars a month you could be renting a full server.

I may be leaving mediatemple as soon as I purchase another vbulletin license. The premium servers are slow as a snail....and I expected faster performance, instead it is slower than an account at dreamhost. This is a $100 per month VPS!
Don't make the same mistake I did!
Are the servers at serverbeach.com any good?

Any recommendations for a good, solid dedicated server around the $85-$160 mark? What company do you or would you choose for your own forum hosting solutions?

For $75 you can get a HostGator Unmanaged dedicated server, 2.0 GHz, 1 gig of RAM, 1,500 GB Bandwidth, 80gb HDD, cPanel 11 & WHM, WHMCS or WHMAP (No extra cost), 5 IPs (I believe ...), http://hostgator.com/dedicated.shtml
The Unmanaged is not listed, to get a details of the server you may want to send a email to their sales email.
I dunno if it's possible to install a different OS on the unmanaged, but by default it is CentOS 4.4.
