View Full Version : Blog Installation Problem

I paid for the blog add-on, downloaded the zip file then uploaded the upload folder to my server, being sure to retain the folder nesting sequences, ensuring overwrites where needed. Everything went just fine until I got to the import product step. When I entered the server location for the .xml file and selected to overwrite a new screen pops up in my admincp that says "Importing Product, Please Wait...[:]" and it stays on this screen for a very long time.
So, I tried to upload the .xml file from the local copy on my computer but I get the same admincp screen that says "Importing Product, Please Wait...[:]" Neither option is working for me and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Any suggestions?

Enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.
Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

Hmmm...I don't see anything in phpinfo that would explain this. Fill out a support ticket at:
http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_contactform.php
Please include a complete description of the problem and be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP in the 'Sensitive Data' field.

While i was waiting i tried uploading my files again and the installation worked this time.
Either I missed one or it was mangled on the upload.
