I am so sorry if this is the wrong forum.....

But our vbulletin has been up for over three months now (we've added hacks, and so on) the whole time, but have darn near NO new members, and are such a small board! We are at the brink of boring our few (20+ or less) members of burning out, and don't know what else to do to attract more members. BTW, we are a non for profet forum, and not selling anything......... We are at the point of NEEDING new members (besides spammers) before we run out of funding, and are forced to close our VB forum!

To make a long story short, I recall finding an SEO program that required a one time fee when I started the forum 3 months ago. I didn't think we needed it at the time, for I thought it would only take a month or so to attract new members. But at this point, I REALLY WANT this program and am willing to pay for it to benefit my forum before I am forced to give it up.......... this forum is my "baby" so to speak.

I did searches for this, with many word combinations but have not found it. If ANYONE out there can help me out, I would SO APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

You may be thinking of vBSEO but it has a yearly license renewal charge (like vBulletin, etc.) instead of just a one time charge.

Have you tried posting at any of the various vBulletin administrator related sites seeking input on how to expand your community before you incur any additional charges?

Thank you for your quick answer. I did not know about vbulletin administrator sites (the only other one I knew about was vbulletin.org), and will certainly look for those first before going with vbSEO. :)

Our problem is, almost all of the members we have are people we know. Very few "new" members that have found us in search engines, etc. So I KNOW we need to put our forum out there......... If people see us, they are bound to check us out, and those that like us will hopefully register and participate.

You probably get more people advertising your web site on competitor web sites or submitting it tmo social networks, and ask people on your forum to invite their friends, or link to your site on their site, etc.
