Thank you for this update.
I have a question: Do I have a possibility to switch from vbulletin-germany to vbulletin.com
vbulletin-germany is very slow at updating the products.

Any estimate on how long till another update with more blog features will be released? Im waiting until its a little more competitive with other blog sites before purchasing.

This is just bug fixes, not feature additions, so I don't think it's in here.
Thanks for the maintenance release. :D

Maybe add a "Files Changed Since v1.0.1" title to that section in the thread.

Do I have to edit any templates? Or will importing the product automatically change the templates?

By idea you have to edit templates using "Find Updated Templates" option.
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1434145&postcount=2
Remember, you only need to manually apply changes to templates that you have explicitly customized. Use the "Find Updated Templates" option and cross reference with this list (if you are upgrading from Blog 1.0.1). We recommend reverting your customized templates and recustomizing them to guarantee you have all the necessary changes.
But, due to bug issue #23394 (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/project.php?issueid=23394) (I hope it is a bug) when you will update to 1.0.2 all Blog's templates will be overwritten to 1.0.2 version's default templates.
In other words after you will import product-vbblog.xml with "Allow Overwrite" you will have all default 1.0.2 Blog's templates like you just made a clean Blog's install.

I would like to know if there will be any way ever to import current posts/threads into blogs.
I dont wish to copy/paste thousands of posts manually and users don't want to write to new blog as they have still old one.

Impex has supported importing entire forums into blogs since the blog addon has been available.
It has already been stated that moving a single thread to a blog entry will most likely be added in a future version.

If you're coding for a single thread, it surely can't be hard to enable it for all the threads in a forum? Or have a multiple tick box system?

The ImpEx (Import / Export) system is the core system for importing from other forum software into vBulletin version 3.5.0 or higher. PHP 4.3.3 or higher are required to run ImpEx.

Hi,
I'm using vblogetin but i already purchase the license for vblulletins blog, i think right now vblogetin has more functions but i strongly believe in vbulletin blog will be better soon.
Now my question, i have changes links whit another blogers in other communities and i don't wan to loose those links so i wonder is it possible to edit a module whit this links or to manage it in someway?
vblogetin has this option or module (http://www.poquerforo.com/blogs/viewblog.php?username=paco32).

I like:
1. Calendar navigation (love this)
2. RSS, Trackbacks, Search Blog, Latest Posts, etc.
3. Categories
Very feature-rich for a new product.
I dislike lack of and would like to see:
1. Blogger avatars in each post
2. Media embedding (NOT link to attachment), i.e. insert & resize pictures, Flash movies, etc. Without graphics, the blog posts are quite uninviting. And without multimedia embedding, the product is not really ready for the big time.
I'm not a customer. Add multimedia and I will be, no hesitating.

YOu can insert images using BBCode. There are addons available at www.vbulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org) that would allow you to embed media or you can make custom BBCodes to handle this in the AdminCP.

So,
The steps to insert an image from the gallery into a blog post or message board post are easy, however it is far from intuitive.
I'd love to see an icon in the WYSIWYG editor that allows you to insert an image from your Vbulletin Albums. A little popup window opens some small thumbnails to all of your images where you can select from the images in your gallery and automatically links it.
The popup window might look like this.
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=24526&stc=1&d=1196650527
In addition, I think you should be able to upload an image to the gallery via this little popup window as well.

How do i create a global categories for my blogs section? what u have in the blogs is just invidual categorized items.. i want to create Categories for everyone to share in there such as "Cars", "Truck", "Girls" etc.. so when they click onto the blogs tab, there is a block on the left listing all those categories for them to click on if they decide to view blogs in those categories .. and blogs in those categories can be created by multi users in the forums..
