Error on step 8 on NEW install

I am trying to install a NEW copy of vBulletin and am recieving an error on step #8 the message I am getting is "XML Error: unknown at Line 0"

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Reupload the vb files. Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If you still have this problem after that, then it may be a server issue. IE, PHP needs to be compiled with XML support. (If you've ran XML on this server before that's not the case).

I have reuploaded everything vis FTP and have it set on ASCII. Not sure about XML as I have never used it or anything. So anymore assistance would be appreciated.

Make sure the files where overwriting the old ones and all of the file was uploaded. If you think you have done that, contact your webhost and ask if PHP is supporting XML (It should be).

OK, blew everything away & then reuploaded. Re-Ran the install script & cleared all the tables & everything went thru OK this time. Now on to getting the forums setup & get the thing ONLINE.
