Add a small cell phone image link to each entry.

Why would you need to pick a carrier? SMS is pretty standardized. I can send them from my regular email client if I wanted to.

Short Message Service (SMS) have restrictive text lenght or did they upgrade. I was thinking more of a link so you can view page instantly from your phone.

I still don't know why carrier is needed. I get regular emails from up to 10 different accounts on my cellphone don't need to know the carrier to send or receive.

Welll they do, as I just got off the phone from one provider here in Canada. Some charge for goning over limit sent text and multiple sent per day.

Text Messaging is 169 characters or fewer. It is based on the SMS protocol. It doesn't matter what carrier you are using. Yes, providers charge you depending on how many text messages you send or receive per day but that isn't related to the length of the individual messages.

Email messaging is different but usually has a much larger capacity and even then you wouldn't need to know the carrier because sending a quick link wouldn't go over that capacity.

When you go one your cell phone, is text shown or do you have to navigate to different options before you see it. Does not email need you to navigate before you open mail or does it need just one click when it comes in.

I have a Blackberry Pearl with the 4.2 OS. I would guess it is similar to yours. Sending links would only really matter with smartphones that have decent browsing capabilities so they would operate similarly.

I like the idea of cell phone and blog interaction but not for send to friend.
It would be very useful for posting in one's blog.

You need to purchase a phone that has proper working browser, as for saying not having this option is just thinking ahead on your part. Since know that you can browse internet here at 3 mb connection with mobile, it is better to make sure you have all option to use to contact this service.

What you want would not be widely availabe for 2 to 4 years from this year, as sending a link to view is. I doubt it is actual page the link would show on any phone, just most likely text.

Install Opera Mini on your Blackberry. You get full pages. Much better thant the default browser that comes with them. However posting to a blog would only require that it accept email based posting. Most phones today support basic email functions.

I thought they have not worked out the rendering bug to display sites like vBulletin out. I had it on installed in August and was quite disappointed with the display and the lack of usability with vBulletin administrative functions.

Well I haven't messed with Administrative Functions. Nothing is that important that I need to handle that on my cellphone. Have browsed quite a few forums and websites including this one without it though.
