HI. I've been debating which forum software to use for a few weeks now. I prefer vbulletin primarily because of it's reputation as being more secure than the free solutions.

My main site will be based on the newly release joomla1.5rc3. Is there anyway to bridge joomla1.5 and vbulletin so that users are common?

Although vbulletin is real slick, I want to make the appearance similar to my main site (not up yet btw). I heard that vbulletin is very customizable...does this apply to the appearance? or just the modules? All the sites that uses vbulletin looks almost the same. Can anyone point to some site with heavily modified template/skin?

An lastly, if vbulletin does not work well with joomla, then I may consider vbadvanced. But vbadvanced looks kinda boring, like vbulletin itself(sorry). Can someone point to some really wild vbadvanced site designs?

Thanks much.
jim.

that's a thought. I planned on using joonla bc it's flexible and can look real nice with little effort. Is there a better cms for vbulletin? Vbadvanced is too plain for my purposes

Ideally I'd like a site similar in design to phpbb.com. Anyone wanting to help, I'm wanting to pay. I live in CO and know of no quality designers in this region
