Tags should be predefined for each category by Administrator and add request to add relevant tags.
List of your own total selected relevant tags in Sideblock.
Tags on your Sideblockare listed by your category rank.
Tags shown on each Blog Entry.
Tag image identifies a list of tags reference to entry or users Blog.
A must for this. Background image for each tag to show they are tags and not part of text entries.
Tags are clickable links to a list of blog entries with selected tags.

*Edit: Just notice someone made tags for vBulletin over at vBuulletin.org :)

Maybe add a search field if a tag is not shown below or could just have it shown for on users main blog entries area. If multiple categories, then must have a selection to choose tags from that category or user can just access a selected category other then e.g. Media, Personel, Video...

Anyone want to vote for this.. I rather have the tags within entry then beening displayed at lower end of page like you see with 3.7 forums.

This is what I would like to see vBulletin Developer to create. I would not post it here if is was my own, as I would of just post it in 'Chit Chat' or vBulletin.org.

Did you just voted for 'No Tags'?

I rather see that tags are all controlled by the Admin/Mod groups only and you can you select from the a list of predefine tags (So you do not see irreverent tags). If a user wishes to add new tag other then what is listed, then that user could make a request to have a new tag added to list.

Tags should have a setting that it can be searchable in multiple categories or just within its own category. I think tags be searchable only in the select area(s) you want to see results or you just get none irrelevant information and that just makes tags beening useless at the end.

I do hope the option for Administative created categories comes out for blog, as users should have the ability to name categories, but be able to file under Premade Blog categories and admin/mod can have option to moderate any new user created sub-category before it is file under main blogs category.

I will be disabling the private message system for 3.7 and up, as only admin/mods will need to communicate in private or just use a private forum. Since the idea of Social Networking is to be open... Sorta of. :)

Just a setting to turn it off if you do not want tags, but I really do not like adding another box. I guess if nobody votes for it and then ask it after... Well, then I would think it would be to late.

Was kinda hoping more people could vote on this or at least create a mockup on what they would like to see.

Umm.. I do not think you understand what lines I was thinking about Blog tags. I do not want forum tags associated with blogs tags, as it should be completly seperated.

Example:
You have your own Blog with several entries under *admin created categories (This may or may not be part of future product). You select from tags that are predefine by admin for that category and the side_block that is within user entry {Related Tags}, they search all related tags from all under that category. The tags that are shown on own users main Blog page in the side_block, should only have tags {My Tags} (most search) from what user selected for any entry that user made.

I hope I did not confuse you on this, but I do hope that if Blog comes with tags option in the future version, that it be not be part of main forum board.

I also like them neat and tidy, voted at the bottom of the entry, or as an entry variable.
