I emailed you guys a week ago but I received no response. I figured maybe I'd have better luck getting an answer here.
Hello, I have an ezboard community that will probably be moving to vBulletin soon. However, before we go ahead with the purchase I have a few questions:
I understand that only messages are imported. I want to re-create the user accounts to give the illusion that they were imported too. I will be able to change the registration dates and post counts to match the old ezboard ones, correct? Do you recommend creating the user names before or after importing the posts?
How long exactly does the post import take? Is it instantaneous or take all day? I really have no idea how this works.
I'm also curious as to how much space it will take up. I have about 30,000 messages on my ezboard that I wish to import, and I have 250 megs of space left on my site - is this enough?
Can I transfer the posts in my private ezboard forums to the vbulletin?
Thanks. Hope you can answer these questions soon, I would like to purchase the vBulletin next week as soon as my worries are allayed.
