I've uploaded the scripts to my server within the www folder, changed the name from "upload" to "forums".
Now, I can't seem to find the address in a browser to run the install script.
I'm using SmartFTP.
Should be near:
http://www.mysalonusa.com/home/www/mysalonusa/forums/install/install.php
Any ideas??

It should look more like this,
http://www.mysalonusa.com/forums/install/install.php
The path /home/www/username/ is your ftp, path and has nothing to do with the webside of things for urls up to the username point.

Thank you,
That's a start, but that address is not working either.

This is a suggestion I recieved:
----------------------------------------------------------------
"Make sure your forum files and folders are uploaded into your public_html folder not your www folder. Then point your browser how noppid mentioned above.
The above is if you are only going to have a forum and not a website on this domain. If you are going to have a website along with the forum, then create a new folder in your public_html folder and call it forum. Then upload your vbulletin file and folders into that new folder. Then point your browser to:
http://www.example.com/forum/install/install.php (http://www.example.com/forum/install/install.php)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The problem is I have no public_html file at my server. Only the www folder has my "upload" files and is not letting me access the install script "install.php"
Any ideas?
Thanks

I just got this in from my WeB control Help Desk.
Response: Hello,
I do notice that viewing the top level of the site (http://www.mysalonusa.com/ (http://www.mysalonusa.com/)) procudes a "Forbidden" error. This occurs when the 'www' folder does not contain an index page. You will need to add an index to remove the error, but you can still navigate directly to files and folders without using an index page as long as you have the direct link.
Regards,
David Z.

Ok, I'm finally into the 'install.php.
I ran into this during the install:
The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.
So I'm digging through the file wondering what is a miss.
Thanks for all the help so far guys!

Double check with your host what values the config.php file should have.
