Upgrade didn't work

I finally bit the bullet and tried to upgrade from 3.6.4 to 3.6.8. After closing my board, I downloaded the files, unzipped them, filled in the blanks on the config.php.new file then changed the name to config.php and deleted the install/install.php file before I uploaded the "upload" file onto my FTP page.

I typed in my forum name.com/forums/install/upgrade.php and went through all 5 steps. I reopened the board, and it still says I am running on 3.6.4.

What did I do wrong????? :confused:

Sounds like your system didnt see the new files, because only 5 steps means that you only ran finalupgrade.php and not the all the upgrade steps.


Reupload the files and make sure they're overwritten, then re-run upgrade.php

As a result, will there be 2 UPLOAD file folders on the FTP page? Does 1 have to be deleted?
