As a feature suggestion, a blogger should be able to write a blog article entry and then he should be given the chance to write a summary of that article and choose a forum section where the summary will be posted as a new thread with a link to the blog article.
This way the article can be fully discussed in the forums by the members of the community, apart from the short comments to the blog entry added by the public outside of the community.
This is the reverse to his other suggestion, "Make thread into blog post?" (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241470), which is also useful to create "collaborative blogs" with the posts/threads made by different members.
