The Ultimate Suggestion For Vblog

Ok guys it just kicked in.. I'll keep this short and im sure 99% of you will agree with me on this.

We should be able to give users their own subdomain/alias for their blogs. Just like hi5/Myspace.

www.username.forumname.com (http://www.username.forumname.com) or maybe www.mydomain.com/forum/blog.php?u=USERNAME? (http://www.mydomain.com/forum/blog.php?u=USERNAME?)

This way users will be able to advertise their blogs on myspace, hi5, msn as well as on their sigs for other users on other websites to see the url and potentially bring new visitors to your site.. also most importantly the url will be easier for everyone to remember... what do you think?

I like the idea of "subdomain.domain.com/forum/username". That format is used by a lot of web 2.0 sites like Flickr or Last.fm, so users are already know this structure.

You could implement that with URL rewriting, if you're running Apache.
