Now, I know I said last month that I wouldn't be releasing anymore MySQL builds made from the Enterprise-only sources, but things have changed.
First, I figured out how to use BitKeeper so I could check out the releases. After that I determined how to wrap up that data into a tarball I could actually use. Next I spent two weeks testing that build to make sure that it was stable. Finally, someone leaked the official sources (which, before you ask, is allowed) making all that other work redundant. :)
I am considering, for the future, releasing BitKeeper versions as soon as they are available (with a couple days of testing) and then doing a respin if/when the official tarball is available, although that's not set in stone.
Anyway, here you go. Binaries (from the official tarball) are available for EL4 & EL5 in both 32-bit and 64-bit variants. A source RPM is also posted for the ambitious (or stupid, depending on how you look at it).
Upgrading to MySQl 5.0.48 on RHEL and CentOS (http://www.jasonlitka.com/2007/09/19/upgrading-to-mysql-5048-on-rhel-and-centos/)
