I've recently installed vbulletin 2.01 at www.trollnews.com/forums/

when comparing this to a hugely populated forum such as www.were-here.com, my relatively new forum seems very slow when moving between threads/topics. I've turned the no-cache headers off in an effort to speed things up, but it hasnt made much difference. Any help in configuration would be hugely appreciated.

Awesome product by the way...absolutely brilliant...

my server setup details are as follows:

FreeBSD , running Apache server 1.3.19 with mySQL version 3.23.39 and with php version4.3

Thanks in advance
Robbie

The one query that's slow is the mass template caching one, so I'm guessing you need to increase one of MySQL's variables.

If you could provide info about your my.cnf and other MySQL settings (browse around this forum -- it'll give you some info), it'll help the "server people" :)
