Insert an Image into a blog???

Apologies for this basic stuff but how do you actually get an image to be visibile in your blog?

I tried uploading the image
I tried using the "insert image"

the former simply adds an attachement
the latter inserts a URL for the image into the blog entry

How do I make an image actually appear in the blog ??

If you do not wish to use an image as linked attachment, or display it as a small thumbnail you can use the [img] tag. This is the less automated way to do it. You can make a directory like images/blog/ in your web account using FTP or the control panel file manager, and then upload the image you want to include in your thread post or blog post in that dir. Then use [img] to link to it.

I don't follow , I have used the [IMG] tag in the blog post but no image appeared just a URL to the image?

I suspect this then to be an option somewhere, because I get images in mine here on vBulletin.com: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/blog.php?b=864

Make sure your Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Message Attachment Options > Show attached images inline > is set to yes

Can i ask which post in your blog has an image in it?

All i see in your post that's visble from the link you gave is a ton of links.

Seems to work in IE, but not FF. This is what it looks like in FF for me. http://www.fortehwin.org/vbcom-blog-title.png doesn't appear correctly either.

Check your personal profile settings here on vBulletin.com and make sure you have checked [x] Show images. I use firefox 1.5 and 2.0 on mac & pc and can't reproduce this.

I see the images inline also, seems to be working fine.
