What if an image upload option is made available when posting a blog.
e.g. My blog topic would be something related to Health
like
My headache and below the title page and image upload option which would appear along the content of the blog "My headache"
That wau blog could be more interesing, wouldn't be?
I think attachment is something that is attached as in VB so its not helpul at all for showing images along with blog

Would be nice. If image uploads will be allowed in the future, please make it so if they edit the post and replace the image, the old one is overwritten or deleted, even if it has a different name. I have seen other mods where an image is allowed, and due to editing the post, there are multiple images left on the server that are not used.

not really necessary i think for the standard version. This can be done over at vbulletin.org..

At least we shall have an option to use original size of attachments inside the blog entries. Using small thumbnails in blog entries is not that good if you really have a image based blog .
Using attach bbcode only display thumbnails however we shall use them to show original size of images

I agree - Being able to use an image inside the blog posting is a must.

I also think giving you the option to thumb or not to thumb at the time of uploading would be a big advantage, give you the power to choose what works for the post.

True for blog and forum. Possible admin allowance as well.

Well yes. I suggested this more then 2 years ago already overhere (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?p=872351&postcount=8). Also read the posts that follow in that discussion.
(just a remark : I absolutely love the inline attachments-option in vBulletin. Being able to put your thumbnalized attachments anywhere in a posting is just fantastic functionality. Because... we can now present our attachments in the context of the text! I has done wonders for the readability of my Staf Manuals for example. So thank you, Jelsoft!)

I re-read this request and I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you meant by it.
An image-uploading function IS already available inside your Blog. It's called [Manage Attachments]. After uploading you can put the attachment wherever you want in a blog-posting...as a thumbnail that is. The only thing that's missing is the fact that vB doesn't let you use FULL sized inline-attachments. So we don't need an picture upload function, we just need an improvement of the attach-function, like has been suggested more then 2 years ago already for the forum.
But thanks for bringing this up! With the Blog available now, there is even more need for more flexibility in the [ attach ] -code. Both the Blog and Forum will benefit like 'indie' already pointed out. And thankfully we have Freddie on the team. I wished more vB developers would interact on the forum like this : it's very much appreciated.
