As you know that there is a feature at Microsoft Word 2007 that you can post your blog


Can we do from this blog?

Not at this time. If there is sufficient demand for an API (XML-RPC, whatever) then we can consider supporting this.

Microsoft Live Writer (http://dev.live.com/writer/) support would be nice. Probably similar to Word implementation as well. Posting by email would also be nice eventually.

That would be great even if less no. of member ask for this feature as you see you can type in your word document and send it anytime you feel like its ready and above all before posting blod one can be sure of spelling or related mistakes.

I mean this are some of the facilities that your are providing and making easy for a blogger to post their blog in a more convenient way.


Another useful feature would be Image upload option in the Blog topic (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241612)

Wane what a great idea, that would be something beyond my expectation, hope future version would incorporate this feature.

Well there is already an xmlrpc class in there to handle the pingback specification so it wouldn't be much of a stretch. I'll add it to the "investigate" list.

Freddie - Would also be nice to be able to post from packages like Post2Blog (bytescout) which use XMLRPC.

I also would love support XMLRPC, I use ScribeFire and this way I would have all blogs in one place.

Just installed the blog software on my website. Would love to see that Windows Live Writer can be used for the blog. Can anybody inform me if this will be included in a next version?
