We are currently running a 3K-user Forum using vBulletin® 3.0 and are planing to upgrade our Forum to vBulletin® Version 3.6.4. But we have some custom hacks that I am concerned about losing when we update.
There is one hack in particular that I know will not translate over in the new version. When you are "viewing a forum", the post list only shows the date od last post, which is indexed so you can sort on that.
But we are running a hack now that apppends the ORIGINAL POST DATE in the Thread (http://www.onlinereferences.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58&daysprune=-1&order=asc&sort=title) / Thread Starter (http://www.onlinereferences.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=58&daysprune=-1&order=asc&sort=postusername) column. Our forum Mods frequently need to clear out old posts from the forums, and they use "original post date" as part of their criteria for archiving old threads.
Is there a hack that can do this for us using 3.6.4?
Thanks for the help,
Batard
