View Full Version : Thread Creation Time

When I go to import my phpBB2 forum, all goes well, except the time it says the imported threads were created on 12-31-1969 07:00 PM. This makes it so you have to show all threads to see them, but I want threads older than a month not to apear (however, the threads imported are much younger than a month)

Is there a way I can get it so it shows when the threads were actually made?

Did you go through the 'After the Import' instructions here:

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/impex_cleanup

What's the URL?

Here's the link to the forum:

http://savingprogress.com/forums/index.php

My test import was with just one user and one category. The category and forum is Test Transfer. You have to make it so it displays all posts from the beginning before they show up.

I thought you said that 'imported threads were created on 12-31-1969 07:00 PM'. I see different dates and times on those threads.

To change the default view age, please see this:

How Do I Set Forums to Display All Posts (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=191791)

Well, the two threads that I imported show up as the proper time when you actually enter the thread, but when you're still in the forum it shows them both as 12-31-1969 07:00 PM.

This is the problem. I need this to match with the time it says inside the thread. And I know how to change it so it shows all threads, but I don't want it to. I just want to show threads that are a month or younger.

All the dates looks fine to me. You will have to provide the exact URLs of what you are talking about.

Ah, never mind. I figured it out. I just needed to rebuild the thread information and such.
