Question: Importing phpBB forum into existing vB forum

First off, is it possible to import an existing phpBB forum with an existing vBulletin forum? Both have members and existing posts.

Thanks for the response on this. Let me take a step further:

The guide linked clearly defines the Merge Import, but after spending some time looking at it tonight (maybe being a bit too tired to concentrate well), I didn't see any sign of the process to do this.

Is it possible to be pointed to any additional or different steps involved in adding a phpBB forum with different members and posts onto our own, both of them being large, active forums?

Firstly, take a copy of both and test it, leave the source and target running till you have run some tests and understand the process.

As long as your vBulletin (target) hasn't had any imports into it before (no residual import ids) then you can carry on as a normal import.

The main exception is during the user module, select yes for merging the users on email address.
