Custom fields

I am absolutely astonished that this is not currently possible, but PT definitely needs to support custom fields. In addition to to version/category/etc select, there should be custom additional fields (and either marked as required or not)...

such as web browser, operating system, etc. Should be able to support drop-down, text box, radio, etc.

Yep, I totally agree with this suggestion. Didn't think about it before, but I could definitely see use for it.

This would save so much time when setting up reports, bug tracking, and other parts of development and support.

By having custom fields, even if they were stored inside of "Virtual" fields where you get 3 text fields, 1 date, 2 longtext, ect

Long term would be custom tables like "CustomTextVars" or "CustomDateVars" where they link back a project issue type ID. This way we can create our own custom fields for any issue as well as report on them, or perform our own SQL queries on the data.


I hope this is a good place to suggest this stuff.
