Yabb Gold 1.3.1 to 3.6.8 Import

Has been mostly successful with users, posts etc however it has only managed 1 successful Private Message with 304 failures. Any ideas ?

For the time being set this in your ImpExConfig :

I tried adding it but it made no difference. Although the error screen flashes past I think it produces a list of "Error importing PM" messages.

Any more thoughts ?

Edit the config file for :



define('step_through', true);


Or up the page speed number to see the errors.

OK, I did it. The import page show a huge list of "Error with importing pm" errors, an occassional "Invalid pm text object, skipping.fromuserid", and the page ends with "Error with importing pmUpdateing user Private message countDone !".

Sounds like an error in getting the userid's correctly.

Start a support ticket and ask for me.

I have the same problem and wonder what's the solution as this thread is from 2007 and now we're in 2008.......
