How do you disable the project tool so no one can post or view it as I dont want to use it yet and dont want people to use it on my site.

Uncheck all the options here:

Admin CP -> Project Tools -> Project Permissions

Hi,
We wanted to use PT as a 'help desk' but haven't found it quit esuitable as yet. I disabled all usergroups but the projects still display, all that has happenned is that they are not accessible.

Is it possible to remove PT?

You remove it completely? Uninstall it and remove the PT files from your server.

Hi,
I can drop the pt tables from the database but do you know where the uninstall is? Perhaps I can just leave it there without doing anyharm.

Admin CP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products

In the drop-down menu, select Uninstall. It will remove everything that related to Project Tools; don't just drop the tables manually. Then remove all the files in relation to Project Tools on you server.

Think I will uninstall mine till I find use for it as I cannot think what to use it for at the moment :p.
