Private Messages from phpBB2

I too have lost all my PM's. I have searched all the rest of the posts in this forum, but can't find the solution.

Impex is not building the extra mailboxes (saved received & saved sent).

I have redone the import private messages, updated the counters, gone over the After an Import part again, and still nothing.

They show up in the impex panel just fine:
011 Import Private messages 446 0 1 min(s)
but still don't show up in the forum.

Any suggestions?

Followed all 'After the Import' instructions again, then looked at Imported Users, logged in under my Imported name and there they were.

I hadn't merged users, as only admins had been on the new site before. I'll try that. Only how do I keep pm's permissions etc. that are all in the new site, and still import the old ones? Make a separate user, then merge twice?

You cannot import permissions. That is why the instructions say to delete the imported usergroups then go through all the permissions.
