OK, I'm no expert. But the Bug Tracker is a plug-in "Yes"?

So lets say you release a new version that requires we have to remove the older version first, then install the new plug-in after.

What happens to all the bugs reports and replies that have been posted already, do you lose them all becuase you just removed the plug-in to install the newer one. Or will all the posts still be there after the upgrade is done?

You don't uninstall anything. You just import the new XML file (and upload the new files) and overwrite the plugins.

OK, thats fine then. That's why I was wondering if you would lose all if you had to remove the old plug-in first.

If you remove the plugins, then yes, you'd probably lose information. It's just overwriting you're doing, nothing else. :)

Yeah, I've not used plug-ins thats much. When I clicked your link and saw the OVERWRITE option. That reminded me of that option.
