Expired licences questions

Hi,

I understand that when you buy an owned licence you have one year of updates before a USD$30 fee if you wish to upgrade your downloadable version.

I understaznd that you would not be able to go from:
3.x -> 4.x
3.6.x->3.7.x
as these usually contain new features and such.

However what about a security upgrade for example 3.6.6->3.6.7
Would that be given free access because of the security nature, or would I have to use an insecure, board until I could afford the 30USD upgrade fee?

If the security update is available via a patch, then those patches will be available to you. However it is not always possible to secure every older version with a patch so eventually you will need to upgrade to remain secure.
