Hi, I actually just purchased vBulletin, but where is the best place to get started on "how to"? I currently have a forum on one domain with SMF and want to transfer it to VBulletin on a new domain. But I am not sure where to start other than downloading the software! A link to the start up info would be awesome!

Just download vB, install it, then download impex and import your SMF forum to vB.

The documentation (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/) is online.

Thanks guys. Apparently I was too hasty in my decision to finally purchase vBulletin. My host is on version 3.23.58 of MySQL and vBulletin requires at least 4.0.16. I sure hope they can update it :(

I was so excited to finally have bought this...hmpf

vBulletin 3.6.7 requires MySQL version 4.0.16 or greater. Your MySQL is version 3.23.58, please ask your host to upgrade.

To get vB support on these forums you first need to be a licensed customer and register for Priority Forum Support. To do this, please go here:

http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php (http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php)

...and enter your email address in one of the boxes. You'll need to have your customer number and password to access the page.

Once you've done this, please post in the appropriate support forum for your version.
