Hi everyone, I'm close to purchasing a liscense for vBulletin, but I have some concerns before I do so.
For one thing, my forum isn't THAT big, but it does have 1,000+ members. However, I don't want any mistakes in converting to lose the whole database.
Is there a tutorial on how to switch from phpBB to vBulletin? Is it difficult?
Second, I have many MODs on my phpBB. Is there a vBulletin version of the following mods? Cash, Shop, and Fame are the main important ones. (I also have a mod where I can change the post's owner. Teehee).
Anyways thank you very much for reading and I hope things turn out well so we can all enjoy vBulletin!

It's very easy, I have written a howto as well as a manual section on how to do it, and the importing tool (ImpEx is available in the members area).
phpBB is probably one of the more common imports so the importer gets constant attention and updates.

Hey Jerry,
I suggest that you make an importer for IPB 2.0, for the people who have the "trial" version but then buy a vB license. I had IPB 2.0 trial, and when I went to convert to vB I had to switch to a cracked IPB 2.2 first, it's a pain in the ass.
