I'm still not sure I understand how it works and for dam sure my users don't.

1. "Subscribe" to a forum. That's like adding "favorites" to your CP. (Not sure why this is a good thing??)

2. Click on "Email Notification" when posting a message. I think this "subscribes" you to the thread in your CP AND "tracks" it by sending you an email when someone replies.

3. Click on "Receive updates", and at least from my testing, on this forum included, it does NOT show up in your CP but it DOES send you email updates.

How much more confusing do you want it to be?

The wording should be changed. I wonder if anyone uses #1. "subscribe to forum"??? In fact, I will put up a poll to find out.

#3, Receive updates should operate in the same fashion as #2, "Email Notification". This way, people have a way to look up which threads they will receive emails about....

Really? I tried it yesterday and it didn't show up in CP. I'll try it again here on a popular thread i'm not involved in...
