Hi...

I have an ATI x1300 pro 256m... good no problems, but i saw Test Drive Unlimited and i want a super cool gfx card to run it at some higher resolutions etc... I'd like ATI again... but with your experience which card would suit me best...for a gamer who wouldn't like to spend toooo much but needs performance... what ya think? any recommendations?

Test drive unlimited is a bit old game right for the pc? I think the current card should do just fine.

yeah it does... and your right it's about 6 months old (game)...not sure... i can run it very well... but i'd like to see it run with a good frame rate at my native resolution...i think 1280x1024... looks great, but very jerky... anyways we'll see...

I was thinking of getting an ATIx1950 pro... I've seen some copies of the card (china) for about £70-90 on ebay, or if you don't get a copy it's around £100+ mark not sure... seems to have good reviews etc... don't really wanna pay more than 100 quid... :)

I helped someone with their RSS feeds on their blog web site. In return they gave me a bunch of certificates for local games store. I've used them to order a few racing games and that race wheel from xbox360. It should arrive soon. I've now updated my order with test drive unlimited. We'll see how it goes :)

TRU is so good... you know for TDU and CRYSIS i might push the boat out and get a nvidia-8800 GTX or something like that... I'm using DX10 on vista with loads of ram and i might as well enjoy myself... i'd love to see crysis when it comes out and to 60 fps+ on TDU would be glorious not to mention at high resolutions...now i need to make some money on TDU so i can buy that Jaguar E-Type i've always wanted...

I usually don't challenge anyone on TDU and when they challenge me there always have better cars so there's no point... i'd lose every time... but i do enjoy the moments where you can follow people until they say...weird... but ok, come follow me... then you crash and they come back...peep their horn and off we go again riding into the sunset... cool stuff :)
