I just wanted to share that "The Prestige" was a great movie. I had just watched it and thought I'd just post a simple note about it for whoever is looking to watch a good movie.
It has good reviews as well. The movie came out in 2006 and has a pretty good cast: Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson, Piper Perabo.
Anyone have any good suggestions for movies like this (Drama/Thriller) ?

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. Quite good, actually a bit better then I expected.
A suggestion for a movie like this? ... hm, nothing really jumps to mind right now.

Another movie similar to "The Prestige" is "The Illusionist (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443543/)". Edward Norton, Jessica Biel and Paul Giamatti star in it. Both came out at about the same time and are set in similar time periods.
Will have to check out "Children of Men". Also have "Pan's Labyrinth (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457430/)" and "Apocalypto (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472043/)" on DVD to watch still, just have to find time when kids aren't around. If you want a good family comedy check out "Night at the Museum (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0477347/)" with Ben Stiller. That is a very funny movie.
Last night my wife and I watched "Freedom Writers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0463998/)". It was pretty good. Its about a inner city teacher who listens to her students and encourages them to tell the world their stories. Not a thriller but good drama. Stars Hillary Swank, Scott Glenn and Patrick Dempsey.
Not sure what we'll watch tonight. Wednesday is family movie night here.

Night at the Museum was horrible.
Here's all the movies that I think are good.
Perfume: Story of a Murderer (it's a weird movie)
Pan's Labyrinth
Find Me Guilty (Vin Diesel does some good acting)
The World's Fastest Indian
Inside Man
Harsh Times
Freedom Writers

I guess it depends on what you're looking for a movie. Any movie that makes my autistic stepson react and enjoy, is good in my book.

If I may I like to recommend some movies.
Rock-A-Doodle (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102802/)
Hoodwinked (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443536/) (It's my favorite animated movie).
Zathura (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0406375/)
I hope your stepson will like those movies.

Matrix and leet should not be in the same sentance after the final two "movies", and I use that word lightly.

We don't let our 11 year-old kids watch many 'R' rated movies.

@ Dean : I wasn't talking about the other titles, I specifically meant The Matrix.
@ Wayne : I was just mentioning another movie for the thread starter, I can imagine your kids not being the right audience for the matrix at this age.
