Leased License OR Owned License

Hi folks,

i am going to buy vBulletin 2.0.1. I just wonder for which license i should go for. weather i should go for Leased License $85 per yar OR Owned License $160 life long but without membership.

please suggest. :confused:

Well I purchased the leased license because I wasn't sure, but I'm going to be purchasing a full license once this expires. So I would have saved $80 if I just purchased teh full license in the first place.

It really all depends on your situation.

If you want to use vBulletin more than a year, I guess you save more money if you buy it. Else you need to pay for every year 80 $ again...

I just bought a leased license because it was all I could afford. But when it is time to renew I will try and find the cash to get an owned one.

well, i chose to lease first, because i'm on a virtual hosting plan, though the host company recommanded vBulletin to me - my ex-forum took up too many resources, but i still have no idea whether my forum can accommodate my visitors on my current hosting plan.
