I would like to know if there would be a Visual Basic version of vBulletin Lite - in .asp extentions.

Thanks

No, nothing is planned. It would be pretty significant to port it from C++ based PHP to VB.

Although, we all know John could do it... :D

Visual Basic is growing on the web, and most sites support it, while Unix is starting to fade. If Unix fades there will be no PHP, so why not be smart now and open a VB version?

Thanks...

Sounds like flame bait, but PHP runs on *NIX and NT.

Oops...
I ment that MySql runs only on Unix, So why not make vB run on PHP with MS SQL Server 7? Now that would be great!

Thanks...

mySQL (http://www.mysql.com/) runs on a variety of platforms (http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23.html), including 95/98/NT/2000.

well, eventually isn't vB supposed to support other SQL servers, not just MySQL anyway?

Yes, mSQL and Postgre will probably be the first, and then (or maybe before) Oracle.
