Add announcement to forum + all subforums

Currently it appears that you can only add announcements to each forum individually, or all forums at once. It would be very useful to have the ability to add announcement to 'forum + all subforums'. As a Forum will hold sub forums which are associated by topic with the parent forum, its very often the case that you want an announcement to appear within all of that 'group' - which can get a bit tedious when applying to one forum at a time.

Isn't this a matter of your board's structure?
I have 2 categories, open and closed forums with different subforums and I can add an announcement to each of the categories with all subforums or only to specific forums...

If you add an announcement to a forum it will cascade down and apply to all of the forums within that forum.

Well that is what I didn't know - and it was also exactly what I was asking for.
