Hi there

My question is :

Is there a skin available for vBulletin that allows forums to be grouped under topic - to organise large numbers of fora in a better way, rather like this one (done in phpbb) http://www.bokt.nl/forums/

thankyou

Rob

I don't know of a skin that does that offhand but you have full access to all the HTML, PHP and CSS code to make any style changes that are needed to make it fit your site.

thanks Wayne - but I would like to be sure it was possible before I commit to purchase - is there any way I can ask on your support forums. I have a large number of fora to accomodate and need tabbed subject index if at all possible - I have been told that vBulletin is the best forum package and the fastest - so am leaning towards it rather than going OS - but the ability to organise large amounts of topic areas is key for me.

thanks

Rob

the gadget you require is quite easy to accomplish... it is exactly the same system we have here on vb.com, but with a different design... go to the front page, and click on the top-right button of each category... they will be hidden by switch...

actually, you can see the original script for the thing you require, here: http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/tabcontent.htm

with a little redesign, this can be done easily like the site you asked to copy... you just need to make a Service Request on http://vbulletin.org/forum/ once you're a licensed member...

and please don't push too hard, the guys are just back from the "Internet World 2007"...

You can see a similar tabbed interface on http://www.vbulletin.org

Any interface you wish can be achieved by editing the HTML and CSS which you have full control over in vBulletin.
