Based on my (limited) reading here, it seems that this plug-in represents the only currently "released" (i.e., publicly available) substitute for vBulletin's default user-management system.

I am interested in a subsitute user-management system not because I already have an existing database of LDAP users, but because I would like to create a single repository of vBulletin accounts to use across multiple vBulletin licenses.

Is there a well known user registration (with email verification) system that would populate the LDAP database? There is apparently a Drupal add-on module, but if anyone has actual experience with this to share, that would be great.
